This week we look back at another piece of press celebrating the success of the first SECO project delivered by Wylde. The Business and Industry Today article explains how we won a global contract for a design scheme for the precision engineering firm Seco Tools (UK) Ltd.
“The Swedish precision engineering firm hired Bristol designers Wylde IA following the acquisition of two former industrial units in Warwickshire – the brief being to transform them into a state-of-the-art UK headquarters. The company has now tasked Wylde IA to redesign sites in Budapest, Hungary; Brno, Czech Rep; Bourges, France; Detroit, USA and Dusseldorf, Germany.
The original scheme included a new reception (complete with a bespoke staircase designed in partnership with a local artist), a technology & production centre, meeting, exhibition and auditorium suites, open plan office accommodation, cafe, break out areas and even a gymnasium. As lead consultants, Wylde IA also designed external spaces, landscaping and the buildings facade.”
