The 2021 Bristol Property Awards Finalists have now been revealed and guess what – we’ve been nominated not once or twice but three times! The competition announced late last week that this year saw a record number of nominations. After navigating such a challenging time it is simply inspiring to see how businesses have responded to the pandemic, from a civic responsibility point of view but also as smart business and property thinkers, pivoting adroitly.
With so many companies being nominated it makes being shortlisted as a finalist in three different categories even more fulfilling and rewarding. We’ve worked incredibly hard to keep momentum and navigate the increasingly complicated challenges that Covid-19 threw at all of us.
Wylde are thrilled to announce we have been nominated for Commercial Interior Designer of the Year and for Green Initiative 2021. Our third nomination that has been selected as a finalist is our project for BAWA. The design and refurb of the Bristol based health and leisure club has been shortlisted for the Bristol Property Awards 2021 Transformation category.
The brief was to create a new modern and professional environment in the tired and dated spaces, connecting the rooms together with a generous linking corridor from reception. We developed a scheme which transformed the Ballroom, Concorde Room and Reception area making a very flexible and fluid space suitable for a conference or a wedding venue. The new reception area is welcoming, bright and modern with timber cladding and bold signage.

It goes without saying, it feels like we have all come a long way from the days of Virtual Award ceremonies and we are delighted that the 2021 Bristol Property Awards will take place in real life, together on the 12th November at the Ashton Gate Stadium. Exciting!
